Well, well, well, The UP delivers once again. And just in time for the day after Christmas. Bars and restaurants will be open for carry outs. I posted below what Brian is doing down at Gogebic Lodge, I’m not sure yet what the Hoop is going to do. In the 15 years I have been here every season has seen a struggle of one kind or another. This season is not going to disappoint. Usually it is Mother Nature throwing us curve balls, this year it is the government, the Chinese or whom ever else we can blame all this shit on. No matter what the UP will soon transform into the Winter Wonderland we have all come to love.

Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches, except locally higher amounts of 8 to 12 inches over the higher terrain, and up to 16 inches possible near the Porcupine Mountains.
